Accurately measuring a loudspeaker’s low-frequency response indoors is notoriously difficult due to room reflections and modes, which standard windowing techniques often fail to overcome completely. Ultimately, achieving a complete and precise full-range frequency response requires a hybrid approach, skillfully splicing the low-frequency data from near-field measurements with far-field data obtained under reflection-free conditions.
